Select four of the following events (at least one to be chosen from each group) and show an improvement in your performance by undertaking two tests at an interval of not less than three months:

Running: 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m or 1500m.

Jumping: High, long.

Throwing: Cricket ball, discus, weight.

 

Whatever your standard at the first test, the minimum standard required after the three month period must be:

            Running

            100m                                                   15 seconds

            200m                                                   34 seconds

            400m                                                   81 seconds

            800m                                                   3 minutes 9 seconds

            1500m                                                 5 minutes 56 seconds

 

            Jumping

            High                                                     112cm

            Long                                                    3.8m

 

            Throwing

            Cricket ball                                           46m
Discus (small)                                       17m

            Weight (8pound 13 ounce shot)           7.5m

 

You must show genuine improvement in all four events. The aim is that this would be achieved after practise requiring effort on your part. The examiner may make allowance for adverse weather or track conditions on the day of the event.
