Hat

Clean with a little warm water and an old tooth brush, pat it dry with a clean light coloured cloth as you go.

Badges

As a Scout you can earn badges for many different things to find out how to earn a badge check your progress book (the one with a green cover).

You need to sew on the badges you earn before the next Troop meeting. You can find out where each badge goes on the Information for New Scouts page or the printer friendly copy here.

Scarf and Woggle

The Lytttelon Sea Scout Group Scarf is plain black, the group has been wearing this scarf since at least the 1920s.

You will be presented with your Scarf when you make your Scout Promise and become a member of the Troop.

Your scarf should be washed regularly, ironed and tightly rolled. If you loose your woggle you will need to make yourself a new one out of white cord or plastic coated wire. Click here for instructions.

Jersey, Shorts, Socks and Shoes

We wear a navy blue jersey with a round neck, preferably wollen.

In summer Scouts wear navy blue shorts with black knee socks with two white bands, in winter Scouts wear dark blue trackpants.

Scouts are to wear black flat soled shoes if they have them.

See one of the Scout Leaders if you have any questions about the uniform or where to get it.

Red Polo Shirts

These are our activity T-shirts which we wear when we need to be identifiable as a Group but not in Sout uniform. The red polo shirt is not worn underneath the uniform jersey.
